Hi I’m Sharon.

I have worked as a nurse in the NHS for 40 years, and still do part-time, my love of cake design has grown from a hobby over several years. Now I am the owner of Quarter2cake and spend my time indulging in my passion of designing, baking and decorating cakes – sweetening life’s milestones, one delicious creation at a time!

My focus is to become well-known as a cake designer in Derbyshire and Yorkshire, renowned for designing personalised unforgettable edible cake creations that become cherished memories of birthdays, intimate weddings, anniversaries, and all life’s special moments.
I can provide celebration and anniversary cakes, intimate wedding cakes, cupcakes and cake lollies.

Please note, I am unable to copy another cake designer’s work, however, I can take inspiration from any images you wish to show me in order to come up with your own bespoke design.

When I’m not in my cake kitchen I can found pottering in my garden, walking, eating or shopping with friends, or getting chance to catch up with my two boys and family!
